Sara Thompson - Silver Candle Stick Holders

Each piece starts out as a flat sheet of silver and is hammered into a three dimensional form with traditional silversmithing techniques. Seats for the candle sticks were then constructed and soldered into place. Afterwards each piece was soldered with a curved sheet on the bottom to render the form completely hollow. They're fitted to hold a standard size dinner candlestick with a 7/8'' diameter. No air hole.
Pieces are finished in a signature silky satin finish, signed with Sara's name and 925 for sterling silver.
