7.5" Tall Nakiri in walnut case.
Handle from red eucalyptus and eastern maple. Blade is 26c3 carbon steel at ~61 HRC. Etched with ridged and textured lines. This is an all purpose chef knife for slicing and preparing meats and vegetables. Not a cleaver. The broad surface is useful for guiding along the knuckles for accurate slices, and can be used to scoop up and transfer chopped ingredients. The belly of the blade is flat for push chopping with a bit of a bend at the tip to enable a rock chop as well. A full flat grind and narrow blade across the full 3" of depth ensure a narrow cutting angle and low resistance.
