Jenny Poston - Modernist Porcelain Chess Set & Board

This unique chess set and board were handmade by Jenny Poston of Portland, Ore. 

Each of the thirty-two individual porcelain pieces was sculpted by hand. Natural felt covers the bottom of each piece, which are all nicely weighted for game play.

The game board is handmade from individually crafted porcelain tiles and sits in an elegant oak base. The dark squares were etched by hand and then lightly glazed for contrast.

The pawns measure approximately 2" high, and the kings are 4" high. The board is 18.5" x 18.5".
