This unique glass vessel was handmade by Corey Pemberton of Los Angeles.
Corey utilized the intricate "murrine" glass technique---where the artist first makes glass cane; then cuts the cane into thin cross-sections, or tiles. The individual murrina are then arranged and incorporated into the vessel through numerous steps of additional heating, blowing, and shaping.
The elegant yet playful lid is made of brass by Elliot Keeley.
Dimensions: L 7" x W 7" x H 11" (Measurements are approximate and include the lid.)
